Health Management Courses

The Weekend Health Management Course is a unique immersion program to empower you to take health into your own hands by integrating yoga into your daily life. The aim of this short but concentrated course is to learn how to prevent, cure and rehabilitate specific health issues to promote overall well being. The course will be conducted by Master Sanjiv Chaturvedi, a foremost yoga therapy expert in Thailand, with a master’s degree in Applied Yogic Science from the Bihar School of Yoga in India. With over 14 years of experience teaching yoga to restore health in students with a wide variety of ailments and issues, he will guide the sessions in methodical and accessible manner so that practitioners may reap maximum benefits. Being not physically inclined or getting adjusted to a more mature body need not be accompanied by feelings of frustration and helplessness. Seniors and people who do not have time to take care of their bodies encounter challenges such as loss of muscle mass and elasticity, stiffness of joints, bone density loss and memory deterioration, all of which can be managed and improved by practicing yoga correctly with a qualified yoga therapy specialist. This course will focus on learning practices to increase mobility, manage pain and improving mental power. Whether you feel stiff all over, have back and joint pains, recovering or suffering from a chronic disease, or never practiced yoga before, all are welcome to participate in this empowering course.


In the courses, participants will;


  • Develop understanding of the individual issues in a supportive group
  • Learn basic integral yoga correctly with awareness to maximize effect
  • Be prescribed a Personal Yoga Program designed specifically for your health issue and given a printed version of the sequence so that practices maybe continued at home
  • Understand the yogic principles and philosophies on health
  • Reduce dependency on medication
  • Become confident to take charge of your own health


Participants should come in comfortable active wear. Yoga mat and towel will be provided. Free parking available. Participants will be awarded certificates of completion at the end of the 2-day course.

9:30 – 10:30 Basic Integral Yoga Learn accessible practices aimed at relaxing the mind and the body through physical postures, breathing and awareness practices.

10:45 – 11:45 Condition Specific Practices/ Personal Yoga Program Learn practices specific to the health issue.

11:45 – 13:00 Lunch Break , Various lunch options available within walking distance from the Divine Yoga Studio.

13:00 – 13:45 Yoga Nidra Also known as the yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra is a guided deep relaxation practice to rejuvenate the body and mind.

13:45 – 15:00 Theory and Question & Answers Develop understanding of the health issue and an opportunity to ask any questions.

15:00 – 15:30 Personal Yoga Program Touch-Up Review and correction of specific practices
